Our family and canines

Briefly we want to introduce you to our family and our kennel. Our family consists
of my husband Josef, the children Michael and Margit and myself, Sigrid Mosch.

My husband and I have bred Rottweilers since 1990, using the affix "vom Wolfert Turm".  This name originates from a war memorial situated in a park at Ehingen on the Danube.

My husband´s family was at home at Oppeln in Upper Silesia where he grew up on a farm, until, aged six, he moved to Ehingen with his parents. At the age of 18 he bought his first dog and the love for these animals has never left him. Being occupied as a guard he bought a Rottweiler bich for his work in 1985 and was thrilled by this breed with is impressive exterior and calm and well-balanced demeanour and thus he decided to join the ADRK in 1987 and found a kennel. We had our first litter in 1990 with the female Bunny vom Schwaiger Wappen. Meanwhile we have had 28 litters. In addition my husband has succeeded in passing many tests at various levels with different dog´s and bitches
(in BH SchH IPO ZTP and Körung ) during this period.

I was born at Ehingen and went to school there, my parents bought a boxer male when I was seven, so I grew up with it getting into contact with the pastime of breedind dogs at a very young age. From getting to know my husband we have shared this common interest throughout the years.

In 1991 we cooperated with a few friends in founding the regional group of BG ULM - DONAU within the ADRK, where we have been very active. In addition my husband was elected to be the breed warden of the LG Oberschwaben in 1996.

Two years ago our family has moved to Weihungszell. There we live in a nice house with a big plot and a lot of space for our Rottweilers. Our animals live together in a big pack and can exercise according to their wishes all day long. We even installed a small training place for working our Rottweilers. This year we have established a shop for canine equipment, dog food and other items of dog related sports.

We are very proud and happy that we have succeeded in gaining so many top - V - (excellent) qualifications with our dogs and that they got titled as Champion of Germany, International Champion, Bundeswinner, World Champion and Klubsieger. Also some of them become National Champion Titel of the country they live. In dog sports, many of our canines passing Schutzhund tests ( SchH ), they have passing Körung tests and one took parts successfully in the German Working Championships of Schutzhund ( SchH ) and the German tracking dog championships (FH) for Rottweilers. He passed with place No.4.
We aim at promoting the Rottweiler by breeding well-balanced, self-reliant and friendly animals that get as close to the exterior requirements of the standart ( from ADRK ) of the breed as possible, too.
